Courthouse Closed to the Public
Due to the rising COVID infection rate, the McCracken County Courthouse will be closed to walk-in traffic beginning Wednesday December 2, 2020. It is expected to re-open on Monday January 4, 2021.
Property Taxes being currently collected by the Sheriff, may be paid on-line, mailed, or placed in the drop box at the main entrance to the courthouse during business hours (sorry, the drop box comes in at night). For questions regarding paying property taxes call the Sheriff’s Office at 270-444-4719.
Vehicle Registration renewals can be completed on-line or through the mail. Marriage license and notary application are by appointment only, call the County Clerk at 270-444-4700 for an appointment.
All Court questions should be directed to the Court Clerk at 270-575-7280.
