Carson Park
The Carson Park fairgrounds and historical race track are located in the heart of Paducah, Kentucky. Luther Carson donated the park to McCracken County in 1936 for horse shows, county fairs and horse training.
Today Carson Park has over 40 newly remodeled stalls where the public can board horses in a safe, loving, and affordable environment. Horses are stabled and trained year-round. Daily harness training is open for public viewing from October to May. Several horse shows take place in the large outdoor riding arena from May to October.
Carson Park offers overnight camping throughout the park at reasonable rates. Floral Hall, built in 1882, is located in the park and is available to rent. The spacious venue is great for any event from reunions to weddings.
The public can enjoy many activities throughout the year such as the McCracken County Fair which takes place on the last full week of June and the Lions Club Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Show the third week of September.
